Learn what a resume is and how it can be used to find you your dream job! Our proven curriculum covers the “anatomy” of a resume and the keywords employers are looking for when hiring. We will even help you build your own!
Job Readiness.
At HVCC, you’ll be working a real job with real responsibilities. Our program will help you develop a stronger understanding of workplace etiquette, communication, timeliness and more.
Regulation Skills.
And breathe…Usually this is something you would hear in our counseling clinic but it applies to more area’s of our lives than you might think! Our program will prepare you to deal with life-on-life’s terms, even in the workplace!

Yes! HVCC can provide transportation to and from your work-study. We will also work around your school schedule to best accommodate your needs.

The program typically lasts 10 weeks with an average of 5 hours a week spent in your work-study. Time and duration may vary based upon your placement.

Yes! HVCC has a strong relationship with area businesses who are actively looking for positions to be filled. We can also help you apply to jobs posted on job-sites and provide transportation to and from interviews.
