COVID EMERGENCY BENEFITS ARE ENDING

Effective April 2023, the hold on re-determinations for Medicaid recipients is ending.

What does this mean for me?

If you were enrolled in Medicaid during the Pandemic (2020-March 2023), during that time, you were not asked to do a yearly re-determination of your eligibility. This is no longer the case. Going forward, maintaining Husky benefits requires re-determination.

States can now dis-enroll you from Medicaid benefits if you fail to complete a re-determination, or no longer qualify for Medicaid benefits for any reason.

Medicaid Benefits are now available to children

Children under the age of 13, regardless of immigration status are now eligible to receive Medicaid Benefits.
